Bell Tent -
About -
A 5 minute drive from Bodiam Castle is Lower Barn Farm Glamping with Bell Tents available at your earliest convenience. Surrounded by two beautifully stocked carp lakes and 60 acres of land available for guests to enjoy and fish, rolling hillsides of Sussex with the infamous 'Kent Ditch' separating East Sussex and Kent boarder with a flowing stream. The site comprises of a hand built hot water shower and wash station with a shared portaloo station area.
The Space & Guest Access-
As a guest with us you will have access to the surrounding 65 acres of land and lakes.We can issue you a site map or an overview for walks and wanders round the farm upon arrival. From the land you can see the rolling countryside of Kent and East Sussex, the 'Kent Ditch' that separates the Kent and Sussex boarder with a natural flowing stream.
The site comprises of a beautiful, hand crafted, rustic hot water shower and washing up station. Perfect for having a nice hot soapy soak with its unique copper shower head or to refresh the dishes after dinner. The site is of natural beauty and does not run off mains power.
Interaction With Guests
We are a family farm and a member of the team is always around on the property, upon arrival you will be shown to your allocated area and you are more than welcome to ask any questions then or alternatively if you have any other questions you are more than welcome to message myself via the website.
Bell Tent Sleeping Arrangements -
The Bell Tents consists of 4 camping beds within the bell tent with sleeping bags and pillows. If you would like to bring your own sleeping bags, pillows or bedding you are more than welcome to do so.
To Cook - Within your package you will have a BBQ/fire pit to cook food on. Logs are supplied for the fire pit. If you decide you will be needing more logs upon arrival or throughout your experience, please get in contact with one of the staff as we will be more than happy to supply logs for £5 per bag.
